FAQ

  • Where do I send my Application Form once I have completed it?
    You can return your form by post or email. Email: copia_transactions@unitregistry.com Post: Copia Investment Partners, GPO Box 804, Melbourne Vic 3001
  • Is there a minimum investment amount?
    Yes, each fund hasa different minimum investment requirement. Please refer to the fund's Product Disclosure Statement.
  • How long does it take to process my application?
    Applications received before 2pm on business days will be reviewed on the same day, with applications received after 2pm reviewed the following business day. Copia reserves the right to request further information before processing your investment request.
  • What is my account/investor number?
    Your account number will be sent through on the confirmation statement you receive when you initially invest. If you cannot find this, please call or email client services and quote your account name.
  • How do I update my contact details?
    You can update your contact details by logging into the portal or by completing the Change of Contact Details Form. The Change of Contact Details Form can be found in Forms and Documents section of the relevant Fund Manager website, or by requesting a copy from the Client Services Team.
  • How do I check my unit balance?
    You can check your unit balance by logging into the Investor Portal and selecting “investment details”. You can also contact our Client Services Team.
  • Can I transfer my holding into a different name?
    Yes. A new Application Form will be required for the transferee, along with an Australian Standard Transfer Form signed by both parties. The transferee will be required to provide supporting identity documents.
  • How do I change my adviser or remove my adviser?
    Complete a Change of Adviser form.
  • Where can I find my Tax, Distribution and Annual Statements?"
    All statements will be sent to you by the method requested. If you need a copy, you can download it from the investor portal or by contacting the Copia Client Services Team.
  • Why don't I have a Tax Statement?
    If the Fund did not distribution during the financial year, no Tax Statement will be issued. If the Fund did distribute, but you redeemed before the end of the financial year, you will not receive a Tax Statement.
  • I want my accountant to receive copies of my Tax Statements, Annual Statements and/or Distribution Statements."
    Please send a letter of authority signed by the relevant authorised signatories to copia_transactions@unitregistry.com.au. The letter should include the full name, email and postal address of the intended recipient and the method in which the recipient should receive the statements. Copia may contact you to verify the instruction before processing the request.
  • How will I receive my distribution payments?
    When applying for the fund you have the option to receive the distribution payment into your bank account or have it reinvested into the Fund.
  • How do I view my investment online?
    You can access our Investor Portal to view your current balance, transaction history, and to download any statements issued by Copia. Once you invest and your account opens, you will receive a letter with a registration code for the Investor Portal. If you are currently an investor and do not have a registration code, please contact our Client Services Team to request a registration code.
  • I have more than one investment with Copia. Will I need to register for the portal twice?
    If the investments are in the same name, all investments will appear in the account when you login. If you have investments held under different entities, you can arrange to have the accounts linked to one login by contacting Copia Client Services after creating an online login for each account.
