Zenith Recommended rating for TT Global Environmental Impact Fund

Copia Investment Partners today announced that Zenith Investment Partners has awarded the TT Global Environmental Impact Fund a Recommended rating in its first review of the global equity strategy.

The Fund is distributed in Australia by Copia and it invests into an underlying strategy that is managed by global asset manager TT International.

In its Report dated 27 September 2021, Zenith states that it “draws confidence from

the longstanding investment process and experienced investment team. Furthermore, we (Zenith) believe the Fund offers an attractive and differentiated exposure and is well-positioned to deliver upon its investment objectives.”

The strategy aims to generate long-term returns by investing in the leading global structural growth theme – the green transition. Each company in the portfolio must produce products or services that tackle an environmental problem. The strategy aims to have at least 80% of capital is invested in companies where environmental solutions account for over 50% of revenues or profits.

One of the key differentiators of the strategy is the policy of the investment manager TT International to donate one-third of its management fee to selected environmental charities in both Australia and the UK.

An independent Research Advisory Board works with the 10-person investment team and provides an additional layer of scrutiny and insight on investment decisions. The Board consists of four leading environmental policymakers and experts such as Dr Ma Jun, a key green policy adviser in China and Co-Chair of the G20 Green Finance Study Group.

The performance objective of the Fund is to outperform the MSCI All Country World Index NTR AUD by at least 2% per annum after fees, over rolling three-year periods. Since its inception in May 2020 the TT International strategy has delivered strong performance against its benchmark. The portfolio will typically include 30-40 stocks.

Copia is in the process of making the Fund available on a range of investment platforms.
